Route
London to Bovington runs out on the M3, then south-west on the A31 through Hampshire and into Dorset. The final stretch on the A35 and lanes to Wool/Bovington is rural — local knowledge matters.
London → M3 west (J2 onwards) → M3 J9 → A34 link → A31 westbound → A31 → Wimborne bypass → Bere Regis → A35 → Wool → Bovington. Approximately 120 miles, typically 2h30m–2h45m off-peak.
For some London pickup points or A31 incidents, driver may take M3 → M27 west → A31 link at Ringwood → onwards to Bere Regis. Slightly longer but a reliable backup when the A31 single-carriageway sections are slow.
