Vehicle leaves the airport onto the M23 northbound. Climate control, USB-A/USB-C/Lightning charging, complimentary water. On a short run like this most passengers use the time to make a first call home or check into their hotel by phone.
Gatwick → M23 north (10 min) → M25 briefly, then A23 or A24 into London depending on destination (15–30 min) → inner London streets to your address (15–60 min, the most variable part of the whole journey). Destinations in the west and southwest — Kensington, Chelsea, Victoria — are usually quickest. The City, Shoreditch and Canary Wharf take longer because of the cross-town leg. If the M23/M25 is congested the driver may use the A23 through Croydon and Brixton instead; you are on a fixed price, so a longer route never costs you more.
Driver delivers to your door — hotel entrance, residential address, office reception or station forecourt — and unloads the luggage. Where a street is pedestrianised, on a red route with no stopping, or otherwise inaccessible, the driver stops at the nearest legal point and carries the bags the short remaining distance.

North Terminal. The main base for easyJet’s substantial Gatwick operation, plus a range of European and long-haul carriers including Norse Atlantic and TUI. Arrivals come through into a single concourse; our meet point is by the information desk in the arrivals area. Vehicle pickup is from the designated pre-booked bay rather than the public rank.
South Terminal. Home to British Airways’ Gatwick operation and a broad mix of long-haul and European airlines including Emirates, Turkish Airlines, WestJet and Vueling. The South Terminal arrivals concourse connects directly to Gatwick Airport railway station, which makes it busier underfoot; our meet point is near the main exit, confirmed by SMS before you land.
Which terminal am I? If you do not know, you do not need to — give us your flight number at booking and we identify the terminal and route the driver accordingly. If a last-minute aircraft change moves you between terminals, dispatch reallocates the driver; the terminals are linked by shuttle and we absorb the change at no cost to you.
Timing after landing. Allow 30–60 minutes from wheels-down to walking into arrivals — taxi-to-stand, disembarkation, immigration (fast with e-gates for eligible passport holders, considerably slower at peak), baggage reclaim and customs. We track the flight and hold the driver, so there is no need to rush or to call us while you are still in the queue.
Hotels and the West End. Mayfair, Soho, Covent Garden, Marylebone, Bloomsbury and the theatre district. We deliver to the hotel entrance and unload there. Some West End streets are pedestrianised or have loading restrictions at certain hours, in which case the driver stops at the nearest legal point and carries the bags in.
Westminster, Victoria and the South Bank. Whitehall, Victoria, Pimlico, Waterloo and the South Bank cultural venues. These are among the quicker Central London destinations from Gatwick because the approach comes in from the south and southwest.
Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. South Kensington museums, the Chelsea and Knightsbridge hotel district, and the residential squares. Usually the fastest part of Central London to reach on this route.
The City, Shoreditch and Canary Wharf. The financial district, the tech corridor around Old Street, and the Canary Wharf towers. These take longer than the west because of the cross-town leg — allow toward the upper end of the journey-time range, particularly at peak. For Canary Wharf specifically, the driver approaches from the south where possible rather than crossing the centre.
Rail termini for onward journeys. St Pancras International for Eurostar, King’s Cross for the East Coast Main Line, Euston for the West Coast, Paddington for the west, Liverpool Street and Victoria. If you are connecting onto a train, give us the departure time at booking and we will advise honestly on whether the connection is realistic before you commit.
Gatwick Express and Thameslink/Southern rail. Gatwick Express runs to Victoria in around 30 minutes and is genuinely fast for the rail leg itself. The catch is what happens either side: you carry your luggage from arrivals to the platform, again at Victoria, and then onto a tube or taxi to your actual destination. For one person with a cabin bag heading somewhere near Victoria, the train is an excellent option and we will say so. For a family of four with checked luggage going to a hotel in Bloomsbury, the door-to-door taxi is normally both easier and cheaper once four fares plus the onward taxi are counted.
Rideshare apps. Base fares can be lower off-peak, but Gatwick is one of the most surge-prone pickup points in the country — a cluster of long-haul arrivals, an evening bank of departures, or bad weather can multiply the price by two or three times, and you only find out at the moment you need the car. There is no meet-and-greet in arrivals; you walk to a designated pickup zone. There is no guaranteed flight tracking. Our price is agreed at booking and does not move.
Airport taxi rank. Metered, so a slow journey costs more than a fast one — exactly the wrong incentive on a route where traffic is the main variable. No pre-booking, no flight tracking, and no vehicle sizing for your luggage.
