Maybe at the gift shop. But the station is grand and the GWR trains are sleek.

Where exactly is the ship?

Bristol Cruise Terminal is usually at Avonmouth or Royal Portbury. Both are in the middle of nowhere industrial zones. You NEED a taxi from the station.

Can I bus it to the ship?

There’s a ‘Cruise Flyer’ bus sometimes, but a taxi is safer. Don’t try public buses; you’ll get lost in an industrial estate.

Is the train crowded?

Paddington to Bristol is commuter central. Avoid 5pm on a Friday or you’ll be standing.

Is the Wi-Fi fast?

It’s decent, usually enough for emails and doom-scrolling.

Can I eat on the train?

GWR has a ‘Pullman’ dining car on some services if you’re feeling fancy. Otherwise, M&S at Paddington is your friend.

Is the luggage storage good?

It’s okay, but big cruise trunks are a pain. value.

Will I get seasick on the train?

No, it’s very smooth. The Bay of Biscay later? That’s another story.

How much is the taxi to the port?
